How to Integrate the Play Store with Grispi?

Grispi enables you to gather customer feedback from multiple channels into a single dashboard. With this integration, app reviews from the Google Play Store are automatically converted into support tickets, allowing your team to respond quickly and efficiently.

All user comments become support records, making it easy to filter, assign, and manage unresolved feedback from one centralized platform.

🔧 Integration Steps

To integrate Google Play Store reviews into Grispi, access the Google My Business channel via G-Social, which serves as a gateway for all Google integrations.

1️⃣ Access Google My Business via G-Social

2️⃣ Upload Required Information and File

a) Enter Your Package Name (Application Identifier)

  • Locate your app on the Google Play Store
  • Copy the package name from the URL (e.g., com.grispi.mobileapp)
  • Paste it into the corresponding field in G-Social

b) Upload the JSON Authorization File

This file is required to securely access the Google Play Store API. To generate and download the JSON file:

  1. Sign in to your Google Play Developer Console
  2. Select your app
  3. Navigate to API Access or the Service Accounts section
  4. Create a service account and download the key file in JSON format
  5. Upload this file in the designated field within G-Social

📎 Note: This authorization file ensures secure access to your app’s review data.

  1. After uploading the necessary data, click Save to complete the integration.

🧩 Creating Filters: Track Unresolved Comments

Once integrated, each new app review is converted into a support ticket.

To track unresolved feedback effectively, you can create a custom filter.

Filter Setup:

  1. Go to Settings > Filters > Add Filter
  2. Name: Google Play Store – Unresolved Comments
  3. Conditions:
    • Channel = Google Play Store
    • Status < Solved

This filter helps your team quickly identify and respond to pending app reviews.

✅ Benefits of Integration

  • No need for manual review tracking
  • Every app comment becomes a registered support ticket
  • Centralized communication, assignment, and follow-up
  • Reviews can be categorized, tagged, and reported
