What Are Campaigns?
Campaigns consist of individual email messages sent to your subscribers. Examples include product launch announcements or recurring newsletter distributions.
Before creating a campaign, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
- At least one email service is configured.
- A list of subscribers is available for targeting.
- A campaign email template is selected (optional but highly recommended).
Viewing Campaigns
To view your existing campaigns, click the Campaigns link in the side menu. This will take you to the Campaigns page.
Launching a New Campaign
- Go to the Campaigns page.
- Click the New Campaign button.
Required Fields
- Campaign Name:
A friendly name visible only to you, used to identify the campaign (e.g., “Newsletter – May 2025”). - Subject:
The subject line that will appear in recipients’ inboxes. Make it clear and concise. You can include placeholders such as{{first_name}}
,{{last_name}}
, and{{email}}
.

The sender name that will be displayed to recipients. - From Email:
The email address shown in the “From” field. This must be a verified address that matches your selected email service configuration. - Template (optional):
Select a template to use for the campaign email. - Track Opens:
Enable this option to track whether individual emails are opened. This requires webhook configuration in your email service. - Track Clicks:
Enable this option to track whether links within the email are clicked. Also requires webhook configuration. - Content:
The body of your campaign email. This is the message that will be sent to your subscribers.
You can use placeholders in the content. Refer to the Templates documentation for supported placeholders.
After completing the form, click Save and Continue. Your campaign will be saved as a Draft.
Sending Campaigns:
Campaigns are sent from the Preview page.
Test Email:
It is good practice to send a test email before launching a campaign. This helps ensure that your email displays correctly and contains no errors.
To send a test:
- Enter an email address
- Click Send Test Email
The email will be sent through your configured email service.
Delivery Options:
- Recipients:
Choose to send the campaign to all subscribers or only to those with specific tags. - Schedule:
Send immediately or schedule for a specific date and time. - Sending Behavior:
Choose one of two options:- Queue Draft:
Each message is saved as a draft, requiring manual approval before sending.
Useful for complex templates or when individual customization is needed.
Not recommended for large subscriber lists. - Send Automatically:
Messages are generated and sent automatically without manual intervention.
