With automation, you can perform actions that are automatically triggered when certain conditions are met. It optimizes your customer support process and increases efficiency by automating repetitive tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Administrators can create automations by following the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add automation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the <strong>Settings<\/strong> page and select the <strong>Automations<\/strong> submenu from the <strong>Business Rules<\/strong> menu on the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Add Automation<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.grispi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/automations2-1024x486.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1353\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter a title for the automation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add conditions and actions for the automation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An automation consists of three parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Time planned for the automation to run<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conditions that must be met for the automation to work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actions to be taken when conditions are met<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.grispi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/automation-1024x486.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1356\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>Set the planned time for the automation to run:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Manual:<\/strong> There is no scheduled time; you must run the automation manually. The automation runs as soon as you activate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cron Sequence (Quartz Timer):<\/strong> A cron sequence allows you to run the automation at regular intervals (e.g., every hour, every day, once a week). Enter the cron expression in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can generate a cron expression using: <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cronmaker.com\/?0\">http:\/\/www.cronmaker.com\/?0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example cron sequence to run automation every hour:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>0 0 0 0\/1 1\/1 1\/1 * ? *<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One-Time Planning:<\/strong> Use this option to schedule automation to run once at a specific future date. The automation will run for tickets that meet the conditions when that date arrives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Conditions;  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the <strong>Add Condition<\/strong> button. Use the <strong>All<\/strong> or <strong>Any<\/strong> condition options to specify which tickets the automation should apply to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Action;  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the <strong>Add Action<\/strong> button. Select the actions that will be performed if the conditions are met. You can update priority, assignment, type, or other form fields of the relevant tickets and send bulk emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>To simplify:<br><strong>If<\/strong> condition <strong>X<\/strong> is true, <strong>then<\/strong> perform action <strong>Y<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong> to save your new automation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can activate the automation by clicking the <strong>Run<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.grispi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/automatiions2-1-1024x338.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-765\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><br>In Grispi, automations are logged in the <strong>Work History<\/strong> when they are active.
